INTRO:

Day 6 started with a pre-ruck. The attendees were as follows: Hooch, Matchstick, Drumstick, Kiffin, Hank Hill, Westside, Gumball (2.0)

The ruck consisted of story time by Drumstick and Kiffin with some notable moments from Hank Hill and Matchstick. We finished off the ruck in the parking lot and then enjoyed some fresh coffee while the other PAX started rolling in. No time to waste, we will be using all 60 minutes of this beatdown. Time to start things off with a mosey!

WARM-O-RAMA:

Moseyed around the track and then cut in towards the baseball fence near the pull-up bars. Circled up and performed:

10x Windmills
10x Weed Pickers
10x Imperial Walkers

YHC had the PAX choose partners for routine number 1. There will be 6 stations. PAX will complete an exercise at each station until completion or until time runs out.

THE THANG:

Station 1: Partner 11s

This routine is simple. There will be 2 exercises (Brokins and Bropees). On the command ‘exercise’ (see Kiff) the PAX will start with 1x Brokin and then will run to the baseball fence to perform 10x Bropees. This routine is continued until the time runs out or the PAX complete the routine with 1x Bropee and 10x Brokins.

Station 2: Circle Burp

Short mosey to the next station where we circled up. This routine will start with everyone performing SSH’s while 1 PAX does a Burpee. The next PAX in the circle will then perform a burpee. This routine was continued until we reached 100 Burpees. We switch up the exercise to High Knees at 50 Burpees, Some weird Drumstick routine that I can’t remember at 70, and then a free for all at 90. Quick 10-count after this one.

Station 3: The Just Over 1/8 Pounder

Short mosey to the next station where the PAX lined up on the soccer field. The goal here was to perform a mini quarter pounder. The distances were 10yd intervals, but the rules were the same. PAX would run to the first station, perform the exercise, run back to the start and then run to the next station. This was repeated until the PAX reached the last station. The exercises were:

15x Merkins
30x Squats
45x Mountain Climbers (Kodiak Count)
60x SSH (yes, we did more)

Station 4: Jack Webbs

PAX moseyed across the field to the side with the exercise equipment. Punishment time: The Paragon flag fell on the ground and we all performed 10x Burpees. We all paused for a minute to hear a Drumstick story before the routine began. After story time the PAX got on their 6s. The goal here is to complete the routine that YHC was unable to finish at The Crossroads yesterday. This is gonna hurt. Standard Jack Webb rules. The exercises are performed at a 1:4 ratio. The exercises were as follows:

1x Big Boi / 4 second 6-inch hold
1x Big Boi / 4 second 6-inch hold
1x Big Boi / 4 second 6-inch hold
2x Big Boi / 8 second 6-inch hold
3x Big Boi / 12 second 6-inch hold
4x Big Boi / 16 second 6-inch hold
5x Big Boi / 20 second 6-inch hold
6x Big Boi / 24 second 6-inch hold
7x Big Boi / 28 second 6-inch hold
8x Big Boi / 32 second 6-inch hold
9x Big Boi / 36 second 6-inch hold
10x Big Boi / 40 second 6-inch hold

YHC shared the love and had each PAX take a turn at counting the 6-inch hold. Some were kind and others were cruel with their counting. Abs were in so much pain at this point. Quick 10-count and had the PAX partner up for the next routine.
Station 5: Catch Me If You Can
No surprises here. The goal was to run a loop around the track. 1 PAX performs 15x Air Presses while the other PAX runs backwards. Once the Air Presses are complete the PAX sprints forwards to catch their partner. At that point, the PAX switch positions. Punishment Time: It appears that the Paragon flag muscled the Chatterbox flag out of the ground and it fell over causing us to have to pay the price with more Burpees. The twist: Garfield suggested Australian Burpees (Thanks Dixie Chick). Like a Burpee, but you perform and extra movement of the legs forward to cause more pain.

Station 6: Mary Go Round Q School Style

On our 6 around the exercise equipment Dodi started us off with his choice of exercise and reps. Next up, Gumball, that’s right. This little man knocked out 15x Merkins IC and sounded like a true PAX! Proud parent moment for me. Each PAX, minus Kiffin, got a chance to throw out their favorite routine. We even got some of that Drumstick cadence that everyone loves while doing dancing Rocky Balboa’s. Complete with hip action! Garf finished off the morning with….Australian Burpees!

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Name-o-rama, prayers, and praises. Prayers for the family mentioned by Dodi. Peace be with them and their family.

Naked-Man Moleskin:

The WoW is officially complete! Thank you to everyone that came out to take part, provide mumble chatter, and suffer through some of the more experimental routines. Hopefully, some PAX got some exposure to new routines and even got to experience what not to do. I’ll take my 1 day of rest and then be back in the gloom on Monday. See you at The Vineyard!
