INTRO:

YHC was finally feeling healthy after a month of bronchitis and various muscle tweaks…. so time for a beat down.

WARM-O-RAMA:

Mosey about a quarter mile. Then SSHs, Weed Pickers, Windmills, Copperhead Merkins, 5 Burpees (the theme would continue), Sun Gods, and Michael Phelps. Mosey down to bottom of long paved drive (hereinafter “Burpback Mountain”).

THE THANG:

Partner up at bottom of Burpback Mountain. Partner A runs backwards halfway up Burpback Mountain and then forward back down three times. Partner B simultaneously performs burpees. Partners switch positions until they collectively perform 100 burpees. YHC highly recommends this routine. PAX were toasted by the second repetition. 

Burpback Mountain having been conquered (or so I thought), PAX gathered for an uphill Indian run back to the upper lot. True to his name, Dizzy became dizzy at top of hill and had to walk it off. Chops also needed some time to let the quad burn cool, so YHC walked it off with both. When six was in at upper lot, it was time for a modified round of Black Jack.

PAX partnered up again at bus lane 1. PAX performed derkins by placing feet on planked partner’s back at space 1. Sprint backwards to bus lane  11. Partners perform 3 Bropees. Sprint forward to bus lane 21. Perform 20 big boy sit-ups. Rinse and repeat (always stopping at bus lane 11 for 3 Bropees and increasing number of derkins by one while decreasing number of big boy sit-ups at other end so as to always equal 21). Half way through, Calamari’s left shoulder gives out – another man down. 

Realizing that the PAX were gassed and had no chance of finishing this routine by 6:15, YHC terminates Black Jack at 6:12 and calls for some wall chairs w/ alternating star jumps. Then one round of Guantanamo before PAX are saved by the bell.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Fleetwood announces upcoming Lions Den 3rd F study group. Hartford and Chops announce upcoming ruck challenge. Prayers for neighbor’s 5-year old girl with brain tumor. Prayers for Pie Bar’s neighbor. Prayers for Calamari’s move to Roswell. Prayers for needy during holiday season.  

Naked-Man Moleskin:

The PAX conquered Burpback Mountain, but the Mountain may have had the last laugh! YHC really appreciated the post-beat down chat over coffee this morning. That kind of thought provoking conversation and bonding is what makes F3 special.
