INTRO:

In a tribute to Garfield’s new addition and some enticing on the water cooler for a strenuous 0.0 beat down, YHC decided Sand Babies would be in play.  The work was hard which included dodging Cricket’s vehicle who was running a little late and pulled into the park on a mission.  Being the HIM that he is, he showed up to support one of our newer PAX, Ma Bell.  Some post beat down pictures revealed Ma Bells scraped-up spine…battle scar…good work Ma Bell.  Also, glad to see Kiffin back at it…he crushed it.  Here’s what went down:

WARM-O-RAMA:

SSH x 10

Weed Pickers x 10

Hillbilly’s x 10

THE THANG:

Start at Playground

10 Dips

10 Knees to Chest

10 Burpees

Pick up your sand baby and tote it to the bottom of the hill below playground:

30 Should Presses with baby

Tote baby up the hill walking backwards and at the top of hill:

30 Rows with baby

Tote baby to the lighted concession stand area:

30 Curls with baby (modified to 20 on rounds 2 & 3)

30 Skull Crushers with baby (modified to 20 on rounds 2 & 3)

Tote sand baby back to the playground and drop.

Rinse and Repeat for a total of 3 rounds.

We then partnered up for a Finisher:

BBSU with sand baby feet to feet with partner and passing to partner at top of sit-up x 10

Back to Back with partner passing sand baby around x 20

Lunge to next parking space:

Squat Throws x 10 – Squat facing partner and throw sand baby to partner, he catches, squats, and throws back.

Lunge back to starting spot.

Rinse and Repeat

Cricket was the 6th man…he told us a bit about himself…raised in Woodstock…Home Depot on 92 ruined his chance to star in Rad 2…he owns a baby factory… works at church on weekends and even jams a little on the guitar.
