INTRO:

Nomad and Spaceballs needed a little foreplay, so they got the day started at 5:00 pre-flag. YHC planted the flag at 5:08 and awaited the Pax.

The best laid plans are best audibled at 4:38 am, so YHC amped the intensity to ensure the Pax enjoyer their Monday!

WARM-O-RAMA:

On the prompt we took a long mosey thru the park around the fountain, ensuring the Pax were wondering what the heck was going on.

Stopped at the “MARS” station to address the FNGs, disclaim my professionalism, and do the following:

• 13 Windmills (or weed whackers at this hour)
• 10 Weed Pickers
• 16 SSH

THE THANG:

Quickly resumed mosey pace down to the newly named “Duck blind” (the stage) for some Duck Hunt.

This “greatest hits” of F3 involved the retriever calling the exercise, and the hunter throwing the “duck” out into the vast.

The Pax conducted the exercise while the retriever found the duck, did 20 Merkins, then returned the duck to the Pax.

With 13 of us, the exercises were varied and many in large quantities! Bandcamp started us with Burpees, and the list included more Merkins, Rosalita’s, Dying Cockroaches, Monkey Humpers, more Monkey Humpers, and a more forgetful “one hit wonders.”

feeling the Pax were tiring it was time to mosey. Back up to the Memorial for 20/10/5 Dips alternated with 20/10/5 BIg Boy Sit-ups.

We huffed it back down to the field for the main event. Four corners of the Following to Slam Summer once and for all:

• 25 SSH then run
• 25 Lunges then run
• 25 Air Squared then run
• 25 Merkins then run.

The lead Pax went about 5 rounds. YHC promised Bandcamp 100 SSHs and deliver on that promise.

Called time at 6:10 and the Pax headed to the flag for some Mary.

Spaceballs with Pistol Squats, Stopwatch called more Weed Pickers, and Absentee finally got us into the grass with some more Dying Cockroaches (starting to think he has a future in Pest Control).

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

YHC reminded the Pax to be content even in the hardest of times. Fight the desire for more stuff and count your many blessings.

Papa John lifted up the students at Woodstock City church who just finished an impactful retreat.

He also lifted up 2 Ga. State baseball players who left an exhibition game with the Vols after a nasty collision.

Spaceballs reminded the group to keep Darth Visor’s family and all our F3 brother in your TAPs!

Finished with prayers of thanks for our health, F3, and our brothers in the gloom!

Naked-Man Moleskin:

I’m so thankful F3 found me. It’s juat that simple.

FNG Piggly Wiggly has friend and family who F3 in Greenville and Charlotte, and he’s been looking for us. Today he found us and we are grateful he did! Welcome!

FNG Lavender is 18, just graduated last year, and admits he has never been very active. Well, buddy, that changed today.

He splashed some Merlot (and Egg Nogg—no joke !) Rookie Mistake!!!
