INTRO:

The night before the beatdown YHC predicted a morning free from rain and bitter cold. One out of two ain’t bad. Today was going to be about burpees, a lot of burpees. Mosey’d to the basketball court for Warm-O-Rama.

WARM-O-RAMA:

• Weed Pickers IC x 14

• Mosey’d to the bus lanes

 

THE THANG:

A poor mans Quarter Pounder. Without a football field we made use of the bus lanes doing 10 burpees before running to “3” lane for 25 BBS, followed by a bear crawl back. 10 burpees, run to “6” lane for 50 squats, bear crawl to “3” lane and run from “3” back. 10 burpees, run to “9” for 75 flutter kicks followed by bear crawl to “6” and run back. 10 burpees, run to “12” lane for 100 SSH followed by bear crawl to “9” and a run back and a final 10 burpees. Mosey to flag.

Poor mans burpee mile. Since we didn’t have a mile course we did one lap around the parking lot. Starting with 5 burpees and stopping at each light increasing by 1 for a total of 95 burpees. Mosey to flag.

Goldberg requested music so at the flag we listed to Thunderstruck (4:53) doing alternating shoulder taps and monkey humpers as each man saw fit.

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

Pie Bar was asked about a recent case he won. Interesting to learn how the legal sausage is made.  YHC encouraged the men to take on the burpee challenge, we just did 155 burpees after all! The Lions Den will launch a 3rd F event shortly. It will be a Friday morning study/discussion kinda thing. Time and place TBD.
