Intro:
YHC did not pump up the advertising for The Mole Hole as much this week. With only 3 PAX, me thinks next week I’ll badger the Slack channels so much F3 Cherokee will be clamoring to get to The Mole Hole just to shut me up.
Warm-o-Rama:
After getting a text from Grylls that he would be a couple minutes late, Hank Hill and YHC took off for a short mosey and some warm up.
Mosey down trail a short way to flat place.
SSH – Weed Picker – Imperial Walkers
Mosey back to The Mole Hole for the first round of fun and to pick up Grylls
The Thang:
We'll call this the Lucky 7. Do these 7 exercises in any order.
Monkey Bars
Sideways Monkey Bars (out and back)
20 Dips
20 Squat & Box Jump
20 Tire Flips
5 Pull ups on cross beam (so only a finger grip is possible)
Farmer Carry around house
————————————
Once all 7 exercises are complete take a lap around the cul-de-sac
After the first round Grylls showed up. We gathered in the street to welcome his arrival so Hank Hill and I didn't have to continue to look longingly into each others eyes for the remainder of the beatdown.
Once Grylls got his slow fanny out of the car we set out for the loop trail. As this was Hank Hill's first pass at The Mole Hole, he chose the direction of the loop.
Counter Clockwise it is.
After a loop around the trail we came back for round 2 of Lucky 7's.
With a little time left over we hung on the bar for a dead arm hang to make sure our forearms were completely toast. After a minute of dead-arm hang time ran out.
COT:
Driving home yesterday YHC remembered that Woody spoke of doing a 21 day fast. Prayers for him during this challenging undertaking and prayers that God shows up in a powerful way.
As Hank Hill's 2.0's and YHC's 2.0's joined us we all prayed together and then headed to the patio for water/free beer/chips and salsa.
Naked Man Moleskin:
Friday evenings are challenging with the schedule and traffic. Nonetheless, I am thoroughly enjoying this time slot for the backyard Spartan Course. And it is every bit as challenging as I had hoped it would be. I am hoping the PAX that have posted at The Mole Hole will encourage the other F3 Cherokee PAX to try out this homemade ass-kicker. I promise it will live up to the hype.
