8 brave souls decided to roll the dice on a Westside Q, including a few who have been subjected to a few too many. The rain held off and we had a few new faces join us in the gloom. Time to get started!

The Thang:

Took a short mosey around the parking lot back to the kettlebells. They will be needed for the warm-up.

Circled up for:

10x Kettlebell Shrugs
5x Reverse Lunges w/ Kettlebell (each leg)
10x Wrist Curls w/ Kettlebell
5x Windmills w/ Kettlebell (each arm)

Remained in the circle for the workout of the day. Introducing the lovely lady, L.A.N.A

Finished up with a little over 18 minutes to spare so YHC made the comment that “Lana was a dirty girl so we were going to do the routine backwards”. Wheelin’ caught the joke, albeit a little after the fact. Just read the lovely ladies name backwards 🙂

PAX made it back through the Neck and Arm exercises and that included running 2 laps per routine. Finished up right after the arm routine. Nice!

Had a blast this morning and nearly passed out after the 2nd round of arms. That was brutal. Nice seeing some new faces out in the gloom, including the newly minted FNG, Khakis. Welcome!

Happy birthday Cricket even if we were all too slow to realize your new age this morning in the COT. Missed a few of the regulars this morning but we had a great time regardless. Wet shoes and sore muscles for the ride home. Can’t wait for the next one! Until then, SYITG
