After a day of staying at home, resting and sheltering from the snow storm, it was good to get out.  We weren’t sure what we would encounter on the roads, but thankfully, they were pretty good and the threat of black ice was minimal or absent from our trip to The Vineyard!

We started the morning standing around and guarding against the cold wind and finally we began with a mosey around the parking lot from the flag to the far wall in hopes it would help block the wind while we were exercising.  I was hoping we could do some snow angels, but alas, the snow didn’t stick on the ground.  So instead, we did A.N.G.E.L. B.O.M.B.S.  We did 15 of each exercise.  Here is how the morning went.

A = American Hammers x 15

N = No Surrenders (Hands on your head and then go down on your knees and then stand back up = 1) x 15

G = Gas Pumps (these are like LBCs except you bring your legs straight out each time and then bring them in and touch your elbows to your knees… if you can.  I can’t, but maybe one day…) x 15

E = E2K (Elbow to your Knees… I didn’t figure out what E2K stood for until this morning).  Laying on your back, put your right foot on your left knee and then bring your left elbow and touch your right knee.  Then switch).  15 for each side.

L = Lunges x 15 each leg

Then we moseyed over to the fence on the other side and did the BOMBS

B = Burpees x 15

O = Overhead Press with coupon x 15

M = Merkins x 15

S = Squats x 15

Mosey back to the wall.  Rinse and repeat.

We were able to get through 3 sets plus a fourth of the ANGEL.

Then we finished with Sweet Angels, which is on your six, do a double Dolly (arms and legs at 6″ off the ground) like you’re making a snow angel.  🙂

COT

We prayed for GoDaddy’s friend Greg’s healing from jaw cancer and for the continued comfort of Peyton.

Mole Skin

I am thankful for my F3 brothers that encourage me and push me to better and to overcome my fears.  They also encourage me to do things beyond what I think I can do.  This turned out to be a great morning!
