YHC signed up to Q on Saturday a few weeks ago to celebrate my 2nd F3 Anniversary. While looking back for the backblast, YHC discovered my 1st Post was on 8/18/2018, not 8/8. Oh well, we will just celebrate early! B0.0Mtown converged, had a bunch of PAX at the Pre-Ruck, it was going to be a great morning!

YHC and the rest of the Pre-Ruckers arrived at the Shovel Flag with about 3 minutes before Startex. At 7am sharp, we started our mosey around the Armed Forces Memorial, circled up and did the following:

Good Mornings – 10 IC

Imperial Walker – 10 IC

Weed Pickers – 10 IC

SSH – 15 IC

We then moseyed to the walking trail that goes around the boundary of Veterans Park and YHC explained that we would doing the Burpee Mile! This was the first routine that YHC did as a FNG! YHC asked T-Rex to pick a number, 1 through 15. Being a super smart kid, he chose 4! I knew we had to do more and after some grumblings from the PAX, YHC asked T-Rex how old he was….9! So 9 burpees at each mile marker.  Half the PAX went clockwise and the other half went counter clockwise! We would met up again, at the start/finish. CS leading his group through some Mary when YHC’s group arrived. We also renamed this routine to Burpee 1.3 miles!

Next, we moseyed d to the parking lot near the LAX Field and lined up. We would do 15 Squats, 15 BBS and 15 Merkins, then take a lap. Next, same exercises, but do 14, lap, 13 reps, lap, etc..

YHC thought the PAX would run out time, with only 30 mins left, but Babyface and Misty were able to finish.  These two HIMS pushed it, even after Misty does Half Marathons for fun and gets in 1,000 miles a week. Babyface runs to the end of his neighborhood (up long hills both ways), just to prove to himself that he can do it every day for a month! I get tired just driving in this neighborhood!

All the PAX pushed themselves, even more as the heat and humidity continued to rise! Definitly some true him in this group. All go back for the 6! No Man Left behind.

We discussed the F3 10 year Anniversary, Upcoming Spartans, & Misty’s Half-Marathon. We also asked for prayers for our leaders, teachers and community as school starts back.

Wow! Still hard to believe it has been 2 years (almost). I remember my first beat down just like it was yesterday. Bloodhound was the Q that day and there were many OGs there that day!

PAX that posted that day…

Kiffin, Babyface, Misty, Alcoa, Manning, C4, Harp, AC, FNG(Seabiscuit), Pelosi, Title Max, Slim Shady, Tic Tac, FNG(Rest Stop), Heartache, Legionnaire, PapaJohn, Floppy

It took me about a year to finally post, but I kept running in Babyface. Finally, one day after talking with Babyface and his M, I finally made the decision to Post. I always had the lame excuse “that I needed to get in shape before I post”. Lame! One of the best decisions of my life to finally post! Thanks Babyface for the continuous push! In addition, most of these PAX from my first post are still a huge part of F3, my life, and helped me change not only my health, but make me a better Man, Son, Father, and Husband! Thank you all! All right, enough of this mushy crap! No one reads these anyways! 🙂 Rest Stop Out!
