Captain’s Log: Stardate 11.13.2019. Heading to the far reaches of Woodmont to see if there are any untapped hills yet unknown.
Number of Pax: 3
Pax Names: Yogi, Red Hat, Misty
Warm-O-Rama: That would be highly illogical
The Thang: Ran the Grandmar Chase loop to the furthest point to Cedarhurst, all the way to the back and then returned to complete the loop. With some extra time on our hands we hit the hill up Gaddis to Grand Oaks. After catching our breathe we headed back to the flag, dodging patches of ice along the way. Finished right on time with 4.63 miles at a 9:33 pace.
COT: Prayers for a friend of the PAX's family member dealing with dementia and loss of an eye. One by itself is challenging, both combined are really difficult to fathom. Prayers also for those entrusted with her care. Continuing to pray for those in F3 that are feeling burnt out or experiencing a lack of engagement with the group. May we all avoid the temptation to treat F3 as a mistress or an idol and enjoying it in moderation while keeping ourselves 3rd.
Naked Man Moleskin: Yogi informed YHC that these parts had been partially explored by accident due to Homeboy's poor map reading skills at a previous run, which he neglected to mention as he took the lead with the map.
There were some sketchy patches of ice that could of made for a real bad morning.
Having failed to bring any coffee we all agreed that there was no need to stick around and freeze our sweaty tails off, so we went about our way after congratulating each other on a job well done.
Live long and prosper. Misty out!
