Intro:

We had a senior crew this morning at The Happy Jack, but these men paid full price for admission and pushed themselves and everyone around them. RESPECT!

Warm-o-Rama:

Ain't nobody got time for that when you've got a guaranteed 3.1 miles to get to in 45 minutes. Don't tell Ghandi, but the plan all along was to skip the warmup. Since he showed up late we let him believe the group circling back around for him was in lieu of the warmup. #accoutability

The Thang:

Mosey to the field up by the top parking lot for some 11s. Start with 1 BBSU, up and over the first fence, across the parking lot, over the second fence, 10 imperial walkers (kodiak count). Back up, over, across, up and over again. Increase BBSU while decreasing imperial walkers until 10 BBSU and 1 imperial walker. Some Mary while waiting for the 6. 2 miles down, check.

Next up, partner up and form two lines with partners side by side. When someone says go, sprint all out the full length of the parking lot. Complete 20 crunchy frogs and mosey around the corner to line up with your partner again. That first sprint was loooong, so audible to do sprint to the first island. 20 merkins and line up again for the 2nd half. All out to the end when partner says go. Mosey around the corner and complete 20 squats before lining up to do it all again, 3x that is. Up to 2.75 miles with not much time left.

Line up at the start line of the track. Let's see how much of a merkin mile we can get in. Stop at each 1/4 mile marker and do 20 merkins. Made it to one and most of the way to the next one, but with 2 minutes left, Q called back to the flag. Arrived with a few seconds left to do 20 more merkins before ending right on time. 3.26 miles in the books for The Happy Jack guarantee!

COT:

Appreciation for the Sky Q granting us the ability to get up each morning and do what we do for each other, our families, co-workers, etc. Prayers for those traveling and those that are ailing or have family members that are sick as well.

Naked Man Moleskin:

Lots of respect to be had this morning. Average age of the PAX this morning, 43.8, but you wouldn't have known it by the effort brought by the HIMs that posted in the gloom on this fine morning.

Floppy came in expecting to hear some Zeppelin, but alas Misty saves the tunes for Crossroads only.

Thought I was going to get some merlot from somebody during the sprints, but these men would have none of that. Great job and as always, it was a pleasure.

Misty out!
