We make plans to go out in the night
I wait till five (thirty) then we go right
His rejection’s got me so low
If he keeps it up this Q has to say whoa
The more you suffer
The more it shows the Q really cares, right, yeah, yeah
I may be dumb
But I’m not a dweeb
I’m just a Q to help with self-esteem

The Thang: Grandmar to Curtis Farms neighborhood, where I was told there were some hills. Down and back out. Challenged the gazelles to complete the Grandmar loop if time allowed or backtrack if needed to arrive back to the flag on time. The 2nd group went back the way we came and then completed the Gaddis hill with a few minutes left. All came together again just in time with the ruckers joining us a few minutes late for the COT. It was ok though, they started early, so we'll forgive them this time. Lead group logged 5.25 miles and the 2nd group had 4.6. Ruckers got in 4.5 I believe.
COT: Prayers for those doing GrowRuck to avoid injury and make it through the suck, stronger in the end. Thanks to the Sky Q for the gift of another day. May we not just spend out time on frivolous things, but instead choose to invest it in things that further the vision He has set out for us.
Naked Man Moleskin: Arrived to a lot of cars, but alas, no Nets to be seen. Ruckers had set out early. Thrilled to see MSG return to the gloom with us and also a MorningWood newbie in Haggis. The Q was picking up on some serious self-doubt talk, but I can assure you that the entire group is getting faster and stronger each week at MorningWood. In the middle of YHC's pep talk the lights go out and I look back to see a HIM running backwards, by choice! And then before I can even turn around I feel a breeze as they fly by in a full sprint. Remember to pace yourselves and get those recovery days in. Only 1 1/2 weeks until college football kicks off and I'm already enjoying the chatter in the gloom. As always, it was a pleasure, gentlemen. Misty out!
