Number of Pax: 5
Pax Names: Hombre, Manning, Garfield, TitleMax, C4 . . . with Cody and Casey
Warm-O-Rama: Opening jog down the Gaddis hill.
The Thang: Run the Woodmont loop. Each time the PAX confronts a hill, sprint up it. In short, hill sprints. It was hard.
Manning was literally tethered to Hombre, pulling him like a sled. Two peas in a pod. Cody overheated and so this QIC had to drop him off at the house early. The PAX was discussing dogs resembling their owners and Casey handled the full beatdown like a champ, go figure. And TitleMax pushed it hard on the first real hill and cramped up thereafter.
The PAX worked in 50 mercans and 50 BBSU during the cool down mosey. 4.57 miles on the Garmin.
COT: Great COT this morning, covering a host of topics over that nice Garfield cinnamon brew. From vanity and how it can creep in, to order and chaos and heroes, to F3 mania, to an explanation on steroids and how to concentrate the pump-up effect, to dogs and companionship, to fine motor skills and the simple act of catching, to wrestling and the heavyweight class, and to a fond reflection on the Blue Ridge Race and Aska Road, among other topics.
Naked Man Moleskin: Independence Day beatdown! Bring a Kotter if you can. EH an FNG.
