Inspired by Hombre and Manning’s BD on 30A – wanted a tough and camaraderie filled time for the PAX.

Dates: 2019-09-30

Where: clinic

QIC: Office Party

Number of Pax: 13

Pax Names: Driftwood, Ralphie, FNG (Farkus), Saluki, Gut Check, NesQuik, Foosball, Flo, Homer, Spaceballs, Band Camp, Stop Watch, Office Party

Number of FNGs: 1

FNG Names: Farkus

Warm-O-Rama: Run around the amphitheater, some SSH, windmills, weedpickers and finishing up with some 4 count flutter. On the job training for counting provided by Band Camp.

The Thang: Got everyone on the stage to start the circuit.
9 burpees, 9 count wall stands (chicken peckers?).
Run across field and up the stairs on left side of amphitheater.
9 4 count flutter kicks, 9 derkins.
Run down right side stairs back to stage.
Do it all over with an 8 count of all exercises, then 7...down to 1.

Had a few minutes left over so did the ring of fire with all 13 PAX. Get in circle in plank position, merkins ascending from 1-20.

COT: Spaceballs for wife's family, Ralphie for decision/motivation on special forces, Nesquik for job and attitude.

Naked Man Moleskin: So the FNG puked...and then puked again...but man was he tough. After not working out for four years Farkus pushed through the entire workout and finished strong. Much respect.

Gut Check is a great leader - everyone was pretty spent leading into the final round - thanks for gathering everyone to wait on the 6 and push through that last one together. Love that about F3.

As a VQ and F3 newbie, the nerves were high going in. As usual I over-planned and underestimated the time it takes to get stuff done...oh well...next time. I'm grateful to have been invited to F3 by Exile a few weeks ago. Looking forward to getting to know this group of men more in the coming months!
