So we started in the rain, mud, and cold. We finished in the rain, mud, and cold. Did I mention it was muddddddddddy? The most mud allowed on a Spartan course I believe. Any way there was a mud load of mud if you were wondering.

The weather out here today is cold and shitty with continued cold and shitty throughout the afternoon.
We started at 1045 wet and cold and finished wet cold and muddy. Definitely the most mud on a Spartan course I have ever seen. We were doing the Beaat at 15 miles. Yes, it was worse than any Asheville.
COT: Everyone completed it in good spirits with no major injuries, just the usual scrapes and bruises.
Naked Man Moleskin: Tough day today. Conditions were horrible but there was no doubt we would finish. Cricket and mole took the lead, Doubtfire and myself held the middle ground with babyface and hank hill bringing up the 6. We had to run right by the finish for another 2 miles of joy and ridiculous hills. Trying to think ahead I sent Doubtfire to get HIS truck started and warmed up. 20 minutes later we are standing at the truck with Doubtfire nowhere to be found. Another 20 minutes we tracked him down abou 1/2 mile away shivering under a poncho. In his defense he did say he was directionally challenged. We all made it back, showered and commenced on eating Ribeyes all the way around. This one will definitely go down in the books for toughness.
