Plenty of HIM’s at the Buff this morning including Pitchfork who celebrated his very first rainy beatdown. Congrats! No Homeboy still :(. At this point he’s 0 – 4

Dates: 2019-10-22

QIC: Westside

Number of Pax: 10

Pax Names: Mickey, Manning, Harp, Zillow, Cricket, Red Hat, Pitchfork, LawDog, Alcoa, Westside

Warm-O-Rama: Short mosey around the parking lot. Circled up for:

10x Windmills
10x Toy Soldiers
5x Bent Leg Body Twists
OYO Sun Gods (Forwards and Backwards)
OYO Michael Phelps

The Thang: Modified ACFT

Maximum Deadlift - 3 Rounds
50x Kettlebell Deadlifts (take a lap around the parking lot after each round)

Modified Standing Power Throw - 3 Rounds
30x Kettlebell Swings (take a lap around the parking lot after each round)

4-Count Push Up
Partner Up! One partner keeps the count and watches for good form while the other performs the exercise. This is a 4-count push up starting in the down position, moving up, back down, arms extended all the way out with palms touching the ground, and then back to the start. Timed event for 2 minutes. Once complete, the partners switched.

Sprint, Drag, Carry
One PAX called an exercise for the group. He then assumes the starting position at the start, face down. One the command exercise he performed:

For Time
50m Sprint
50m Rucksack carry backwards
50m Laterals
50m 35lb Kettlebell Farmer's Carry
50m Sprint

All other PAX performed the called out exercise AMRAP until he finished. Good call on doubling up instead of doing it one PAX at a time. We all rallied around Zillow as he finished. Rain started just in time to give us all a good soak!

COT: Praises, Prayers, and hurried mumbles from Alcoa who was not happy standing in the rain. Moved over under some cover and Pitchfork drove up to deliver us some hot coffee

Naked Man Moleskin: It's always a pleasure being at the Buff. One of these days Homeboy will actually make it out. The mumblechatter started before 0530 with the Manning/LawDog combo it was definitely on point. The 'Manning Kick' may have been mentioned and made an appearance during the warm-up. Jokes were in abundance from the group until we made it to the 4-count Merkin. The difficulty level increased exponentially and we really started to feel it.
