With The Hurt Locker being designated an AO all of September for the IronPax Challenge, YHC did not have to do much planning, just wait for the Week #1 workout and come up with a playlist. YHC arrived early to put up the white-board with the exercises and found Earhart on the football field marking 10, 20, & 30 yard lines with Chemlights. As YHC go back to the playground, headlights were rolling in and we had a good group of HIMs ready to knock out the 1st week of the IronPax Challenge.

Everyone started out strong, but after getting to the 30 yard line, YHC was feeling it and was bring ing up the rear. Aquaman and Matchstick jumped out front and were killing it, with Earhart not far behind. After this, YHC was listening to Bloodhound work with Gecko and getting some added motivation to get through this beatdown.
Aquaman would finish first with a time of 26:52 and would come back and pick up the Six. YHC did not get everyone’s time since the white board had condensation and the markers would not work. YCH was the Six with a time of 36:20, thanks to the added push from Aquaman and Deep Dish. We moseyed back and got back right at 6:15am.
COT: Bloodhound discussed the upcoming Travis Manion 5k, upcoming Spartan events, and School of Rucks. We don’t want to lose what we learned from GrowRuck. We prayed for those that have been affected and will be affected by Hurricane Dorian. Prayers for the Creekview Students and Family of the Student that passed last week.
Naked Man Moleskin: This was hard this morning. Not sure if YHC is still recovering from the GrowRuck or from Alcoa/Matchstick’s beatdown this week. The Bonnie Blairs are tough and YHC felt like he was going to blow out his knee each time. Everyone pushed each other this morning.
As for the times, focus on your own results and push the man next to you…as said by the great philosopher, Babyface! Rest Stop out!
