COT: Thankful for another day to push our limits and get stronger. Lifted up Midler's wife's bible study group. Also prayed for cohesiveness in Layup's class room. In general, we lifted up the men that were not able to make it today, asked for continued guidance to be the best version of ourselves as possible.

Naked Man Moleskin: So none of us had used a cinder block as a kettle bell, nor had we used cinder blocks in a BD. We decided to break the IronPax challenge roughly in 1/2 so we could get used to the movements. Good thing we did. We barely finished in the allotted time. It wasn't like anyone was phoning it in either. I saw guys push themselves this morning. Almost no mumble chatter. Everyone just grinding it out to Kelly Clarkson blasting from the speaker. Ok, there was some Helmet, DropKick Murphys, Zedd and other random music playing. YHC likes to keep the playlist eclectic. Oh and don't let me forget, we were so excited to get started that we forgot to do the Merkins on the first round! In the middle of round 4 Sweater Vest lets out a Guerilla Grunt (that would have impressed Jane Goodall) and gets savage with the block. YCH is inspired by this and thus dueling grunts ensue. However, no matter how much grunting was produced, Sweater Vest could not be caught. As YHC tries not to Merlot, the rest of the PAX are steady getting after it. Red Ryder and Midler had a Merkin show down going on. That was fun to watch. Snooker, Waterboy and Layup kept a low profile. They just kept hammering away. Fastest time was around the 20:30. I did not keep the timer running when I finished (epic fail, I know!), but I think the 6 came in around 28-30min. I really enjoyed the way that BD ended. Everyone was pushing outside of their comfort zone. I don't know why, but I really enjoy seeing that. Makes me look forward to trying the full monty next Thursday!
