Intro:

YHC has been training for the upcoming 24 Blue Ridge Race. Which means, if I am Q’ing we gonna be moving….

Warm-o-Rama:

Imperial Walkers
SSH
Copperhead Squats
Merkins
Sun Gods
(actually I have no idea it has been so long since we did this beatdown)

The Thang:

We ran down Main Street, Right on Dobbs and right on Arnold Mill back to the shovel flag. Along the way we knocked out some pain stations. Exercises included: partner carriers, backwards run, sprints, merkins, burpees, partner decline merkins, dips, BBS, flutter kicks and some more stuff I can't remember.

We had time left at the end so we worked on 11's at the bottom of the Clinic stairs. BBS and Squats.

Sign up for GrowRuck boys! You will regret it if you don't. I promise!

Naked Man Moleskin:

What can I say boys? I am the king procrastinator when it comes to doing a BB. Don't follow my lead! Plus I am F3 Cherokee's first recipient of the FUBAR flag and I am very proud of it. So this poor habit of mine ensures I keep the FUBAR close to me at all times. It was great to meet so many new faces at the Clinic. Gut Check you are doing a great job leading as Site Q. Keep up the good work brother!

Over the past few years I have rediscovered my passion for running. I ran track and cross country in High School. As a matter of fact, it was the only sport I did growing up. I am not very coordinated, ask Manning about me catching a football…. Anyways, I had forgotten how much I love running until the past few years. Think about this. When we were kids we LOVED to run, for NO reason. We just ran. We were not trying to beat a personal best, compete and it wasn't work to run. We just ran and it was awesome. Running is one of the few things that I can do to truly clear my mind and relax. Give me some trails, an old pair of shoes and let me go. Which reminds me, check out Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. It is in my top 3 books ever. If you love running or just getting into the sport, pick it up! You won't regret it!

Special call out to a few bros:

– Beer Proof keep up the good work buddy!
– Gold Wing way to hang in there during this beatdown. Keep running brother, it is good for the soul….
– Dog Leg major respect for you bro! I have always had major RESPECT for our 50 yr old + Pax. You serve as an awesome role model for us younger punks. YHC wants to be out in the gloom working hard just like a few years from now! Great job brother!
