Intro:

How am I going to do four corner when the football field is locked?

Warm-o-Rama:

After getting slightly acquainted with our FNG and trying to convince him of his need for gloves we began a mosey. We moseyed past the football field, up the hill, past the baseball field and finally arrived at the practice field. Even though the field was frozen, we all took the time to note how well manicured the grass was. I think this was a clue to the smell that we were going to have to endure during the beat down.
We did some slippery SSH, some Imperial Walkers and some weed pickers. There was also a disclaimer thrown in there at some point to remind everyone that I'm not a professional trainer and y'all aren't athletes. To the corner we went.

The Thang:

Once at the corner, there was some mumble chatter that I was Qing a Four Corner beat down again. I reminded the PAX, and myself, that once this routine gets easy, we will move on to something else. This is a tough routine, especially when you get to the reverse bear crawls. I also informed the PAX that the winner of the first lap would receive a prize!

1st Lap – 25 deconstructed burpees and each corner (25 merkins, 25 Mtn Climbers, 25 squat jumps)
Run to next corner
Bearcrawl to next corner
Run backwards to next corner
Bearcrawl backwards to finish
LBCs while waiting on the six.
TinyTat ( who is a beast, and freaky fast) was the winner of the first lap. His prize was a coupon in the form of a cinder block. TinyTat had to carry the coupon with him on the second lap. I gave one to myself as well because I didn't want TinyTat to feel singled out. I think everyone was just happy that the prize wasn't a fire hydrant!

2nd Lap – The first lap took a really long time so we broke the deconstructed burpees up this time.
First Corner – 25 merkins, run to next corner
Second Corner – 25 Mtn Climbers, bear crawl to next corner
Third Corner – 25 Squat jumps, run backwards to next corner
Fourth Corner – 25 LBCs, reverse bear crawl to end

We then grabbed the two coupons and performed a mosey back to the flag area, passing the coupons around as we got tired.

At the flag area we did 1 suicide run. First light post and back, Second light post and back, island and back, all the way to the stairs up and down and back. Of course TinyTat whooped our butts at this too.

Finally we ended with some Mary where the FNG introduced us to a new, brutal, ab exercise. Times up!

COT:

GutCheck volunteered to be the Sixth Man for us, even though we only had 5 PAX. GutCheck says that his name has become him. He has three kids who all go to school in the area. He started F3 in July and is already a Co Site Q for the Clinic! GutCheck loves the Clinic men and is honored to be there leader. GutCheck is an awesome Him who has a ton of wisdom to share with the PAX and always seems to be lifting spirits and encouraging men who are going through tough times.
FNG SlowBurn has two kids, 2.5 years old and 1 year old. He was born in Queens, NY but was raised in GA. Due to this, he says he is a yankee with a southern fuse, he has a long fuse with a much bigger boom. Hints the name SlowBurn. Welcome brother!

Naked Man Moleskin:

During the COT we prayed for all of the PAX who are struggling. Whether it be from health issues, family problems, loss of loved ones, marital issues. We are all dealing with something. We talked about the fact that once you proclaim your faith in Jesus Christ, once you truly make Jesus the LORD of your life, you immediately become a target for the enemy. Before you become a believer, Satan can basically ignore you and not have anything to worry about. But once you make that commitment in your life, to follow Christ, life can get really tough, you are now a problem for Satan. But if you read your Bible then you know that Gods love will perservere. You know what God says in Jeremiah 29:11, that God has plans for you to give you hope and future. Those plans, we know, lead to everlasting life with Jesus in Heaven, as Jesus described it as "Paradise." With that said, be prepared to endure hardships in your Christian life, but know that you have some incredible men who are right by your side to help you through and lead you back to the Cross.
