Warm-O-Rama: Jogged to the softball field to do our workout. Next, SSH - 20, Sun Gods OYO, Michael Phelps OYO, stretch out the hams and quads OYO
The Thang: 7 of Diamonds was the plan, but it ended up being 4 of Diamonds- The four exercises (in order) were: burpees 7 reps each round, merkins 14 reps each round, big boys 21 reps each round, and squats/squat jumps 28 reps each round. We started at home plate and jogged to the right field foul pole to do the first round of the first exercise. Next was broad jump from right field to center field to do round 2. The original plan was to broad jump from center to left field, but we modified to walking lunges to complete round 3. Last, we jogged back to home plate to finish the 4th and final round. We repeated to complete the four exercises.
COT: We prayed for our missing brothers, praised for a safe and successful middle school mission trip that took place last week, and prayed for the high school mission trip leaving next week to Guatemala.
Naked Man Moleskin: We had planned on completing seven rounds - reps would have looked like this: 7, 14, 21, 28, 21, 14, 7, but the four rounds took up all of our time. Perhaps running around the infield would allow that to happen, but it was a good workout nonetheless! And yes, broad jumping from right field to center field sucked...a lot.
