Intro:

A beatdown without burpees is like a body without soul. And a series of burpees without sprints in between is like . . . well, they’re just not that much fun.

Warm-o-Rama:

Long mosey around the school parking lot and then onto the track and to midfield. 10 SSH, 10 Windmill, 10 Imperial Walkers, then head to the goal line.

The Thang:

One burpicide to get warm (burpicide is a 5-step sequence of burpees between sprints) first to the 50, and then down the full field. Effectively a half Route 66, for some reason they seem more breath-gasping painful.

Head to the side line for some 50s (40/10, 30/20, 20/30, 10/40) of Monkey Humpers at the start and Diamond Mercans at the top, carioca across the field always facing the school, and up metal mountain. Hitting 30 and then 40 diamonds at the top of metal mountain brought a whoopin' to the arms and shoulders.

Two burpicide to stay warm.

The pull-up bars were chained, so this QIC and the PAX had to modify the third exercise to this next routine. Start on the goal line, 10 t-bone mercans single count, run to midfield, 10 full count flutter kicks, run to the end of the field, 10 full copperhead squats, then back to midfield for flutters and onto the other end for more t-bones. The PAX got in about 4 turns of this jack; Cricket may have lapped the group he was moving so fast.

Head to the goal line again.

Three burpicide to finish warm.

One long indian run two laps around the track to kill a final few minutes, and back to the flag.

Dang, the PAX got 2.65 miles completed.

COT:

Praise from Cricket whose son exemplified sacrifice as he kept the 10-month old from serious injury. Great story.

Prayers for the community and our marriages.

Naked Man Moleskin:

So much going on, and C4NN yada, yada, but Dixie Chic was insistent announcing or reminding the Castle Black launch at Ball Ground Elementary tomorrow (Tuesday) and Hombre reached out to YHC beforehand to ensure a special reminder of the Wednesday launch at Bell Memorial Park. Moreover, 3rd F convergence at Family Traditions again this Friday.
