Could not have asked for better weather this morning, the same way the Packers could not have asked for better refs playing the Lions last night.

Warm-O-Rama: Mosey to Liberty bus lanes for modified name-o-rama (YHC thinks there is a need to say our F3 names at the start of the beatdown so everyone knows everyone from the start) and disclaimer.

Warm-o-rama:

SSH IC x15
Weed Picker IC x10
Windmill IC x 10
Merkins IC x 10
Sungods OYO

The Thang: Mosey to Liberty playground where we did Triple Dimes – 1 decline merkin using bench, 1 dip, 1 box jump… then 2, 3.. to 10, then 9, 8 and back down to 1. There were several Pax who left the beatdown area after finishing, and instead of calling Mary, went on unauthorized runs around the parking lot. They know who they are, and their shame will remain until Thursday when they will have an opportunity to do 10 burpees as penance.

Long mosey around the backside of Freedom, down to the entrance and ½ up the hill. Pax lined up in two lines facing each other for a bit of Q school. Pax took turns pulling wooden blocks from a bag (thank you, Spaceballs for the idea) and called the exercise written on the block, each time going to 14. After each set, one line would run to the top of the hill and back to the middle while the other then would run to the bottom and then back to the middle. Then switch following the next set. Odd Job entertained the group with a perfect demonstration of a curtsey lunge. He said he learned his technique at the Bridgemill workout center taking fitness classes with the ladies. We assume he was joking.

It was all fun and games until the last block selected caused Pie Bar to gasp. It must be bad. Plank destroyers. Then it was back to the flag, during the mosey Rembrandt suggested this beatdown should be called “Block Party.” So be it.

COT: Announcements: Get your Lions Den shirt while you can! Be sure to sign up to help out with the Color Fun Run on 10/25.

What we do in this life matters. All of it. Live accordingly.

Prayer requests: Continued prayer for Hartford’s friends who lost their 5 month old. Prayers for the Ryan family, friends of YHC who are now going on in life without their son, husband, dad and sibling. Yukon put his house on the market and has an interview today (how’d it go, Yukon??) with a plan of moving to Adarsville.

It’s a privilege to have you men as friends. Much love.
