Back to our Roots
With the GrowRuck looming closer and the other events that will be coming with it (2nd F at Canton Reformation & the Workout/Leadership discussion Saturday morning) I think it is important that we make sure all the PAX know some of the core F3 Ideas, because as you saw at the 4th of July Convergence, they will be quizzing us.  For the next few weeks, it is important to drive home the following concepts with all PAX, so if you Q make sure in the COT you go through all of these concepts.  Write it down if you need, but let’s all commit to being better these next few weeks. 3 Things you need to be able to know when called upon:
Mission Statement:

  • plant, grow and serve small workout groups for men for the invigoration of male community leadership.

Motto:

  • Leave no man behind, but leave no man where you found him

5 Core Principals:

  • Are free of charge
  • Are open to all men
  • Are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold
  • Are led by men who participate in the workout in a rotating fashion
  • End with a Circle of Trust

Iron Pax is Coming
The Iron Pax Challenge starts up the first week of September (with a pre-season workout the week prior that does not count).  If you are wondering what the Iron Pax Challenge is and if you should take part (Spoiler alert, yes, yes you should) then listen to the recent podcast (not the 43 feet podcast don’t worry).  It explains the concept and structure and what they are trying to do.  Side Not: The New Orleans PAX have more registered and it was mentioned about how strong that PAX was, so that should be reason enough to get Aquaman involved.  Take a listen and sign up!

Next BIG Race

We are putting on the Hero’s Run on Saturday 9/7 at Etowah River Park.  Bloodhound is spearheading this event and he has a good amount of help with the volunteering, but we need runners.  Help spread the word to the community and let’s make this another awesome event!

Come out to Support Crab Legs
Crab Legs is an F3 Brother from South Wake that has been traveling to each Baseball park in America this summer to raise money and awareness for ALS which he was diagnosed with in August of 2017.  His Final Stop is in Atlanta on September 8th.  Homeboy has been hard at work trying to help make something special happen for him and we want to invite everyone out to join the fun.  I will have more details to come in the next week or 2 but keep the 8th of September in the back of your mind to come help support Crab Legs.  I posted a link to his story below if you would like to listen.
