No clown car. No biscuits. Just the four horsemen for a morning of all sixes. Cheers men!
Number of Pax: 4
Pax Names: C4, Dixie Chick, Aisle 7, Earhart
Warm-O-Rama: 10 Good Mornings
10 Imperial Walkers
10 Weed Pickers
The Thang: Route 66: BBSUs and Mountain Climbers. Using the perimeter of the parking lots, we started with the first light pole on the right at the entrance of the AO. There we did 1 BBSU and 1 Mountain climber (jump up after like the end of a burpee). Then we moseyed up the hill, hitting each light pole on our right and adding a BBSU and Mountain Climber with each pole. Once up the hill, we ran around the parking lot stopping at each light pole we passed. Then we ran back down the hill stopping at each light pole on the right. By the time we reached the bottom of the hill, we had to complete 18 (or 19, I forgot) reps of each.
Sixes: We lined up for sixes. The first exercise was 10 Merkins. With only 4 PAX, this was tougher than I thought it would be. No one got caught by the group, but it was close a handful of times. From what I could tell, form was good for all. Once we completed a lap around the parking lot, We did another round of sixes with 5 squats as the exercise. No one was caught and form appeared to be good. By the way, doing sixes with these guys was miserable/great. No one let up the pace to let the front man do the exercise. Or maybe I just need to try harder.
We got halfway through a Route 66 with squats, and we called an audible. We each came up with a specific prayer for our AO (elementary school). We jogged around the school while praying over it then back to the flag.
COT: Prayers for school, teachers, administrators, staff, students; gave thanks for our abilities; that God’s will be done in our lives.
Naked Man Moleskin: Children today have struggles that we did not have. There’s just something different. Maybe it’s social media. Maybe we are a different generation of parents. But something is different. Suicide, to some, appears to be a viable solution to their problems. Perhaps if we took time to pray over these schools before, during or after our beat downs there will be a change. It’s literally the least we could do.
