Pax, Smurfette here! After a short hiatus from the outside world (sorry, but daddy duties called), YHC is honored and excited to run point for the Cherokee region for the 3rd F! As we’ve all already experienced, F3 is about so much more than a great beatdown…it’s about living for a purpose greater than ourselves and making an IMPACT in our community (shout out to Ricky Bobby and everyone involved with the Back to School Drive)! YHC’s hope is to serve as a rallying point and source of information to help maximize any and every 3rd F opportunity that presents itself! Here is how YHC sees this working. With 100+ Pax posting regularly, our region is filled with HIM’s who are connected to all kinds of different needs. So, if you have an idea, run with it! YHC’s only request is that you let me know ahead of time, so that we can help rally the Pax and keep track of what’s happening on a regional level!

On that note, YHC recently became aware of two 3rd F opportunities! Please reach out to YHC or Hooch if you can help with either of the following:

Help Community Arts Director Set-Up for Family Concert

A friend of mine, Christopher Brazelton, is the director of the city arts program and is attempting to create a new experience for the people of Woodstock called the “Lantern Series” — a concert series focusing on different cultures, building community, and creating conversation. With Pax posting at the clinic just across the street, I thought this could be a cool opportunity for a handful of Pax to pitch in and support something going on locally. They need 5 or so people to help with set up from 9-11am and 5 to help with teardown from 9:30-10pm.

When: August 4th, 9-11am or 9:30-10pm
Where: 8534 Main st., Woodstock, GA 30188
Point Person: Smurfette // jamesjrussell3@gmail.com // 770.855.7247 // @smurF3nation
Pax Needed: 5+
