INTRO:

YHC is enjoying these mornings in the 60s, I know there’s still plenty of hot and humid Summer ahead of us, but a few days of respite are very welcomed.

WARM-O-RAMA:

We moseyed around the parking and circled up around one of the grassy end-caps in front of the high school.

  • 20 SSH IC
  • 10 Windmills IC
  • 10 Alternating Side Planks IC
  • Sun God Front/Back OYO
  • 5 Hand-Release Prisoner Cell Merkin Burpees OYO  (This one is a mouthful with lots of steps, but YHC is getting the PAX comfortable with it so YHC can pull it out at a later date!)

THE THANG:

Dora: Frogger Edition

Everyone grabbed a partner and here were the rules: While partner A performed the exercises, partner B was to run across the parking lot and around the far island. To make this the Frogger Edition of Dora, as you crossed the initial driveway  to get to the parking spaces, you had to and exercise to cross the street, as show next to the exercise in parenthesis.

  • 100 Dirty Hookups (Burpee Broad Jump)
  • 200 Box Cutters (Bear Crawl)
  • 300 Monkey Humpers (Crab Walk)

The PAX performed some Mary while waiting for the 6, then we moseyed across the parking lot to the front of the stadium. Grab a different partner and it was time for a mashup to 2 exercises that YHC called:

Mike Tyson and Al Gore Walked Into a Bar

  • Each partner must complete 50 Mike Tysons
  • Mike Tyson reps only count while  your partner is holding an Al Gore against the wall
  • Space out your reps as you see fit and take turns with your partner

With just a few minute remaining, YHC called back to the flag knowing everyone was expecting a final few minutes of laying on the ground knocking out some Mary.  It was not to be. It was time to make Suzzanne Somers proud. I know, I know, ~150 Monkey Humpers (depending on how much pushed off on your partner), followed by 50 Mike Tysons, and some Al Gore, but it was time to really push our thighs to their limit.  Ya know, Homeboy read this great book about this Seal…
