INTRO:

We met an old familiar friend this morning. It was a wonderful/terrible combination of wet, cold, and dark, that can only be described as, The Gloom.  Now we have had some great numbers over the past few weeks in the dark, but there is a difference between the dark, and the gloom. The gloom is an unforgiving beast that only grows stronger as the nights grow longer.  It’s time to make friends with the gloom men. We have put in a lot of work in the dark early mornings, don’t let that go to waste.

WARM-O-RAMA:

YHC wanted to keep moving this morning so we started with a lap around the small field before we started the fun.

THE THANG:

We had a strong 3 man group this morning so as two men started lunge walking around the field as one man ran to catch the group.  When he caught them from behind the next man ran, then, repeat one last time for the third man. We did this 2 more times switching to duck walk for round 2 and long jumps/ frog jumps for round 3.

Next, we moseyed to the concession stand to give our legs a rest and let our arms take a turn.  

Round 1: Balls to the wall (won by Bloodhound) followed by 20 Dips

Round 2: 10 Wall Walks (walk into balls to the wall then back out) followed by 20 dips

Round 3: 10 Mike Tysons again followed by 20 dips

Round 4: Ab-O-Rama with each PAX calling an Ab exercise (BH – Flutters/BF – American Hammer/X-Files – Big Boy Situps) followed by, you guessed it, 20 dips

Collect gear and head for a mosey.  We took a long mosey down to the field then up to the giant American flag, and over to the new memorial, before stopping at the pavilion for a few more exercises (dips & step-ups) then headed back to the flag….which was on the ground, so 5 burpees latter we circle up.
