WHERE: The Cheetah
THE PAX: Glowplug, Harp, Chitwood, Cuban, Papa John, Ricky Bobby, Wheelin’ and Deelin’ (FNG)
Total # of PAX: 8
What do you get when 8 PAX show up in the gloom for the Iron Pax Challenge? Angry mumble chatter. What happens when you apply 80s rock and heat? A cast iron resolve and a completed Iron Pax Challenge.
Mosey around to the front of the school and perform the warm-up:
10x Cotton Pickers
OYO Michael Phelps
PAX lined up under the street light to begin the Iron Pax Challenge. After a quick rundown of the requirements we were off:
4 rounds for time:
40x Big Boi Sit Ups
20x Bonnie Blair’s
Run 400m (To the end of the bus lane and back)
PAX that finished began sweeping up the 6. The FNG was struggling hard, but we all finished with him cheering him on.
CIRCLE OF TRUST:
Prayers for our M’s and the kiddos as they are in the midst of their first full week back at school. Ricky Bobby was the 6th man and his testimony is a great example of what drives us to meet each other in the gloom each day.
Ricky Bobby, Cuban, and Harp crushed the challenge. They are an inspiration to us all. The FNG may have been hurting, but he never stopped and still completed the challenge. Way to go!
Remember though, you can only submit scores to the Iron Pax ONCE. So you can do the challenge as many times as possible for your best score.
