INTRO:

It was with a heavy heart the PAX gathered as some had heard the news of Darth Visor’s passing on Tuesday. YHC decided to scrap the planned beatdown, and go with a beatdown Q’d by none other than Darth Visor last summer.

So in Darth’s honor, I welcome you to “Burpees, Bombs, and Buddies Back in the Gloom”

WARM-O-RAMA:

0530 MOSEY!

• 20x SSH IC
• 15x Arm Circles forward
• 15x Seal Claps IC (must be a Darth special, I did not know this one, like an SSH but with clap out front)
• 15x Arm Circles backward
• 20x Mountain Climbers IC

THE THANG:

I’ve got to warn you, Darth liked the Burpees.

THE THANG:

Mosey over to the front of the high school for some Burpee Breakdowns. OYO:

• 20x Squats
• 20x Leg Thrusts
• 20x Merkins
• 20x Leg Thrusts

Run around the Long Skinny Track (the loop around the front of the high school, ~500 Yards

THEN, put it all together for 20x more regular Burpees OYO.

Run around the loop again.

THE OTHER THANG: BOMBS AWAY

Partner up. One partner starts exercise while the other runs halfway around the same loop.

• 50 Burpees
• 100 Overhead (since we didn’t have weight did Tricep Dips on the Curb)
• 150 Merkins
• 200 Big Boy Situps
• 250 Squats

RECOVER. Mosey back to the flag for some Mary.

Bloodhound led us in a round of Flutter Kicks that consumed our remaining time. The mumble chatter here from Cricket was excellent, and would have made Darth proud, as I hear he was the king of the mumble chatter. “Why Q the whole workout and let Bloodhound call out the last 2 minutes? It’s like not eating dinner but getting dessert!” Touché, Cricket, Touché…

CIRCLE OF TRUST:

• Prayers for Cricket’s mom and his whole family as they deal with her cancer spreading

backblasts, I could feel the LOVE that the men of Alpha had for this great  member of the
PAX. He loved to mess with them, and they gave it right back to him. Whenever he was absent from a workout, he was sorely missed, as he
will be now in all of F3nation.
